Tackling Critical Issues Shaping Future Strategy

These seven days of events are designed to address the need of organisations that are seeking insights, ideas, approaches, and tools to help them address the convergence of key strategy defining issues. At the heart of this accelerating change agenda are major forces of change such as technology disruption, global economic shifts and tensions, and new requirements competing in a post-Brexit world. These are made more complex by the uncertain duration and impact of Covid-19, a growing urgency to tackle the challenges of sustainability and climate change, and constantly evolving workforce requirements and aspirations.

About Fast Future

Fast Future is a global futures and foresight agency – helping clients explore and embrace the future through speaking, executive education, research, consulting, and publishing. Led by globally acclaimed futurists Rohit Talwar, Steve Wells, and Alexandra Whittington, Fast Future helps global businesses, governments, and NGOs make sense of the key forces for change and the implications for their organisations of a rapidly evolving future. The core of Fast Future’s work involves helping to equip current and emerging leaders in business and government to prepare for the transformational impacts of economic shifts, environmental change, the bioeconomy, and exponentially advancing science and technology domains such as 5G and AI.

The team at Fast Future has written, co-authored, edited, and published five books on the emerging future and how to prepare for it: The Future of Business; Beyond Genuine Stupidity – Ensuring AI Serves Humanity; The Future Reinvented – Reimagining Life, Society, and Business; A Very Human Future – Enriching Humanity in a Digitized World; and Opportunity at the Edge – Change, Challenge, and Transformation on the Path to 2025.

Our latest research is a set of Life in 2025: Say Hello Say Goodbye Scenarios.

These ten scenarios explore some of the biggest cultural and societal changes that could occur in our day-to-day lives by 2025. The scenarios unveil visions of what could become a reality across key aspects of everyday life in ten key domains – Food and Dining, Entertainment, Travel, Dating, Health and Wellness, The Workplace, Leisure Time, Friends and Family, Communication, and Fashion and Beauty. These scenarios highlight how these possibilities could emerge as a result of technological innovations in key areas such as 5G, The Internet of Things (IOT), artificial intelligence (AI), augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), and connected technologies.

About IORMA

IORMA is a foresight research organisation concerned with future trends in global consumer commerce and the impacts of evolving disruptive technologies on consumers, business, governments, health, and academia. IORMA has a particular interest in the impacts of technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, blockchain, virtual reality, and 3D printing. IORMA is a neutral resource for businesses, governments, healthcare and academia that recognise their need to understand and respond to the ways in which the 7.7 billion global consumers are changing – in the products and services they want and need, and the ways they want to obtain them in the future.

IORMA believes these changes are happening globally, driven by developments in society and in technology. The changes are important not only for global consumers, but also for those dealing directly with consumers (governments, business, healthcare, and academia) and in preparing for the future implications for Humanity.
