Miranda Mantey
Strategy and Foresight Analyst, ATB Financial
Miranda Mantey is an experienced researcher, foresight practitioner, and strategist with a passion for learning and the future. Miranda completed her undergraduate degree in business and her aptitude for research, communicating insights and strategic thinking was what led her to the Innovation Lab at ATB Financial in Calgary, Alberta. In her role as Strategy and Foresight Analyst, Miranda spends her time monitoring trends, visioning the future, advising projects, and guiding innovation strategy. After a year of working in a position with foresight accountabilities, Miranda made the decision to accelerate her skill set and continue her education by pursuing a Master of Science in Foresight at the University of Houston. With less than one year of education completed, Miranda has demonstrated promise with her work being nominated for the Association of Professional Futurist’s Student Recognition Award, and being asked to speak at events such as the online Science Fiction as Foresight conference hosted by The North Texas Foresight Institute and the Dallas Future Society. In her free time Miranda likes to spend time with her family and friends, and give back to the student community as a coach for business case competitions.
