Gina Clifford has decades of experience across diverse technology industries ranging from tracking petroleum contamination as a hydrogeologist and developing web applications as an analyst programmer through to blogging for Wired.com and leading technology communications for a large Fortune 500 company. This eclectic background contributes to her distinctive technology-focused futures thinking perspective. Currently, Gina leads technology and innovation communications for a Fortune 500 technology company, working with leaders to design systems and design-thinking-centered communication strategies.
Gina is currently an advisory board member of the University of South Florida Digital Marketing Executive Certificate Program. For ten years, she hosted TEDxTampabay events to bring community and global voices together to encourage tolerance, innovation, and inspiration. she holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Central Florida, a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship in Applied Technologies from the University of South Florida, a Graduate Certificate in Technology Management from the University of South Florida, and several certificates in Futures Thinking from the Institute for the Future.
