Sheila Moorcroft has spent over 40 years researching and helping others to think about the future. She is an expert futurist specialising in horizon scanning, trend analysis and scenario development to help clients make sense of the complex web of change, see the potential of the future, and make it work for their business. But also make their business work for the future. She has completed numerous projects on the impacts of future technology and social changes, in sectors such as: health, food, packaging, education, telecommunications, cities and communities, sustainability and the environment. She also wrote several hundred weekly trend alerts for Shaping Tomorrow. Sheila also applies her strategic research expertise to helping charities demonstrate the progress, impacts and benefits of their projects. In recent years she has become increasingly involved in charities supporting people with autism and/ or learning disabilities and dementia.
