This is the second in a programme of four webinars designed to provide leaders with a rapid immersion in critical issues shaping the emerging landscape. The webinar programme is being run as a collaboration between The Icelandic Centre for Future Studies, Fast Future, and the Millennium Project Icelandic and UK nodes.

The session was hosted by leading global futurist Rohit Talwar with crypto analyst Kapil Gupta sharing his perspectives on the topic.
Rohit Talwar is a global futurist who focuses on the intersection between society, economy, business, and emerging technologies and how they could impact our lives, society, the environment, and government. His latest book Aftershocks and Opportunities 2 provides a deep dive into emerging shifts, opportunities, and risks; the evolving geopolitical, economic, and societal landscape; the crypto economy; and over 400 technologies that could come to market in the next decade. His report on the future of the crypto economy for corporates and individuals will be published in February 2022.
Kapil Gupta is a technology and crypto analyst, commentator, enthusiast, and investor. He is a transformational coach to business executives and entrepreneurs and the founder of Nibana.life. Kapil is a TEDx speaker with an MBA from the University of Edinburgh Business School and an undergraduate degree in Computer Systems from the Open University of British Columbia. He is a co-author of Being Fine: The Other F Word.
