Marketing and Sales Outreach

Fast Future is looking for a self-motivated, well-educated individual with career ambitions to work in marketing, sales, and business development. You will initially work to conduct a major marketing and sales outreach programme in support of our speaking and publishing activity.

The Role

The work will cover researching, contacting, and following up with speaker bureaus, business and professional associations, major conferences, and other public events. A key part of the work will tracking and reporting on the tasks undertaken and the responses received. You will also be expected to participate in business meetings in person and via Skype as well as participating in other projects as required.

The Person

You will be out-going, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient in MS Office applications – e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing their time effectively, able to work both on their own initiative and as part of a virtual team. As well as possessing the competencies to deliver the tasks outlined, you will also be curious and flexible in the roles you undertake, and possess a desire to learn. We operate remotely so the successful candidate will be London based and work mostly from home with regular meetings in London. Hence you must have access to, and be familiar with, online communication and collaboration tools including Skype, DropBox, and WhatsApp.

For this starter role, we anticipate a probationary period, following which the pay rate will increase to the London Living Wage.
